There is a real place,
Not of physical space.
Unwanted place of intangibility,
Every case, you go there in reality.
A place where you lose your bearings.
No compass in hand, no one caring.
Like old shoes on a shelf,
Forgotten, by yourself.
Friends and loved ones seem so far.
Distanced, left no door ajar.
Why did you come to this place?
To experience His great grace.
Moving at a fast pace,
Slow down had to take place.
Had to get your attention.
Of Him, you made no mention.
Then, there comes a time.
When everything is fine.
For it was in That Place,
Him, you learn to embrace.
His outstretched arms, waiting on you.
What you needed, He already knew.
You learned He alone holds you up.
Able to take away the bitter cup.
Comforts you when you are down.
Lifts you and takes away the frown.
You were never alone.
Just forgot He’s so strong.
He is a whisper away.
Longing that you come and stay.
A consistent friend like a ticking clock.
All you need is to at His door knock.
Replaced That Place with another realm.
A better domain, dancing with Him.
Thank you for the suffering and pain,
For in it, we learn to love again.
Think about it.
