On Motives and Morality

Alice was her secret enemy, but she thought Alice was her friend. Alice smiled in her face but did things to harm her behind her back. On the other hand, Judy was a true friend, but she doubted Judy’s friendship because Judy was direct and sometimes spoke gruffly. Judy would correct her friend of wrongdoing because she cared for people and tried to steer people down the right path.

Be watchful and sober.  We do not always know what is in a person’s heart. The motive of a thing determines the morality of a thing.

Think about it.
